By using KindFi you agree to these Terms.
2. Platform
KindFi is a technology platform providing transparent fundraising infrastructure using blockchain technology. Unless explicitly stated, KindFi is not the recipient of donations.
3. Eligibility
Users must comply with applicable laws and provide accurate information.
4. Accounts
Users are responsible for account security.
5. Authentication
KindFi supports passkeys and wallet authentication. Users remain responsible for safeguarding credentials.
6. Wallets
Blockchain wallets are user-controlled. Transactions are generally irreversible after network confirmation.
7. Identity Verification
Certain actions require KYC through third-party providers.
8. Donations
Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable.
9. Escrow and Community Fund
Donations may be held in milestone-based smart contract escrows.
If milestones are approved, funds are released.
If a campaign fails, remaining escrow funds are not refunded. Instead they are transferred to the KindFi Community Fund (Community Vault).
Eligible governance participants vote annually on redistribution of Community Fund assets.

10. Campaign Creators
Campaign creators must provide truthful information and use funds only for stated purposes.
11. Governance
Governance participation grants no ownership or equity rights.
12. NFTs
Reputation NFTs are participation tools and are not investments.
13. AI
AI-generated recommendations are informational only.
14. Prohibited Conduct
Fraud, unlawful activity, money laundering, sanctions violations, abuse of the Platform, and attempts to exploit smart contracts are prohibited.
15. Intellectual Property
KindFi source code is licensed under the Apache License 2.0 unless otherwise noted.
Brand assets are not licensed under Apache-2.0.
16. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided "AS IS" without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
17. Limitation of Liability
KindFi shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.
18. Termination
KindFi may suspend users or campaigns to protect the Platform or comply with legal obligations.
19. Changes
These Terms may be updated periodically.
20. Governing Law
To be updated when KindFi establishes its legal entity.
